RULET is Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test. It is conducted in offline mode only at various exam centers in Jaipur. The entrance test is conducted by the University of Rajasthan for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course in the university 5-year law college. The entrance test is for 300 marks and consists of MCQ type questions from English Language, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Candidates who qualify in RULET 2022 are called for PI and GD. The final admission list is prepared on the basis of the candidates’ marks in RULET, GD and PI.

RULET Exam 2022 Eligibility

To be able to apply for RULET, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Qualification: Candidates who have passed or appearing in the qualifying examination of Class 12 or equivalent from Rajasthan Board or any other State or National Board of Education.

Marks in Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have secured 50% marks in class 12th if they are resident of Rajasthan and have passed the examination from State Education Board. If belong to SC/ ST category of the state, then the minimum qualifying marks is 45%. If the candidates are from any other state, they must have secured at least 60% marks in class 12th examination to be eligible for admission.

RULET 2022 Syllabus

The questions in RULET 2022 are prepared from the RULET syllabus prescribed by the University of Rajasthan. The syllabus of RULET 2022 is as follows:

1. English Language: Reading Comprehension Grammar: Tenses, Phraseological Verbs and Idioms, Coordination and Subordination, Articles and Determiners, Active and Passive Voice, Direct and Indirect Speech, Antonyms and Synonyms, Models expressing various concepts (Obligation, Request, Allow, negation) , intention, condition, possibility, possibility, purpose, reason, companion, vice versa).

2. Legal Reasoning: Latin Proverbs, Legal Terms, Indian Constitution and Constitutional Development, Basic Study of Law.

3. Current Affairs and General Knowledge: Art and Culture of Rajasthan, Indian History, Science and Technology and Social Sciences, Historical events of continuing importance,Current events of national and international importance

4.Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning: which includes areas like Ratio and Proportions, Basic Algebra, Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Average, Speed and Distance, Ratio and Proportion,Apply various 10th class mathematical operations on such information.

5.Logical Reasoning: Alphanumeric Series, Reasoning Analogy, Blood Relation, Coding-Decoding, Odd One Out, Picture Series and Sequence, Pattern Series and Sequence, Seating Arrangement, Statement and Assumption, Syllogism.
